Todavía me estoy recuperando de mi viaje a Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe en República Dominicana y no quería esperar más para mi publicación personal.
Aunque no todo fue de acuerdo con lo planeado, estoy extremadamente feliz y orgullosa del equipo que llevamos. No sólo los jinetes sino todos en esta foto (y muchos más que no están) dieron su corazón y su alma por Colombia.
Es increíble ver los jinetes presentar sus caballos que han entrenado casi desde cero y creo que el futuro del adiestramiento en el país será aún más brillante.
Estuvimos muy cerca de las medallas de oro y luchamos una gran batalla. Ganar dos medallas de plata y una de bronce es un gran resultado para un equipo que trabajó con gran sentido de camaradería y respeto hacia el otro. Estaría mintiendo si no dijera que es un poco agridulce por los problemas que tuvimos, pero hay muchas más cosas que estuvieron bien que merecen brillar. Gracias desde el fondo de mi corazón a Santiago, Iván, Carlos C., Gaby, Mia, Andrés, Carlos M., Mariana, Isa, María Antonia, Albrecht, Dairo, Marcela, David, Naira, Andrés, Alfredo, Camilo, Javier, Mauricio, Rosario, y muchos, muchos más.

I'm still recuperating from our trip to the Central American and Caribbean Games in Dominican Republic and didn't want to wait more for my personal post. Although not everything went according to plan, I'm extremely happy and proud of the team we brought. Not just the riders but everyone in this picture (and many more not in it) gave their heart and soul for Colombia. It is amazing to see the riders perform so well with horses we trained almost from scratch and I believe the future for Dressage in our country is going to be even more brilliant. We were very close to the Gold Medalists and fought a good battle. Winning a Team Silver, an Individual Bronze and an Overall Silver Medal is a wonderful result for this team who worked with a high sense of camaraderie and respect for each other. I would be lying if I didn't say it's a little bittersweet because of the issues we had, but there are also many things that went really well and they deserve to shine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Santiago, Iván, Carlos C., Gaby, Mia, Andrés, Carlos M., Mariana, Isa, María Antonia, Albrecht, Dairo, Marcela, David, Naira, Andrés, Alfredo, Camilo, Javier, Mauricio, Rosario, and many, many more. and many, many more.
